Dropbox Teams

Background

The Worklytics platform collects and analyzes workplace data at the instruction of Customer Organizations on their behalf, in accordance with our Privacy Policy, Terms of Service, and any customer agreement / laws / regulations which may supersede those terms. The Customer Organization remains the controller of this data and may instruct Worklytics to halt processing and destroy it at any time.

“Data Connectors” conceptualize the collection of workplace data, representing the connection via which Worklytics will collect data from a single data source.

Permissions Required

Team Member File Access. Team information and auditing, plus the ability to perform any action as any team member. Worklytics requires this permission to scan through all the team member files to pull activity data.

How to Connect Dropbox Teams to an Existing Worklytics Account

  1. Log in as an administrator to your Worklytics account by visiting https://app.worklytics.co.

  2. On the left-hand menu click 'Data Connections'

  3. Find 'Dropbox for Business' in the list and click 'Add Connection'

  4. Click 'Continue' when prompted about whether you trust this developer

  1. Click 'Allow' when prompted to provide access to your Dropbox information and activity log as well as the ability to perform action as any team member.

  1. Browse back to the Worklytics 'Data Connections' screen and verify that the connection was successfully made.
